I’ve known this mother for over fifteen years and always enjoy their annual fall session. It was a fun change of pace to do a Malibu session that wasn’t directly in the sand. Backdrop was gorgeous and the family always impeccably dressed. Love you all to pieces!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted some sessions to my blog, but excited to start sharing some fall family sessions. The last time I saw this adorable little girl she wasn’t even walking and in a few short weeks she will be joined by a baby sister. Nearly a year ago, I photographed these adorable twins at their first birthday party and was marveled by their unfolding personalities. Photographing toddlers can be a challenge, but involving them in activities will most likely produce a candid portrayal of the family; like seen below. The girls had a great time exploring the park, chasing after their parents, and pointing at every passing dog.

Last month, on a chilly and drizzly Easter afternoon, I met up with the 30-member Bogust family to capture their reunion. With the individual families scattered all over the country, I can only imagine how sacred their time is together and grateful to document their celebration. The dynamics of extended family sessions are fun to observe; the interaction between the cousins and grandparents’ infectious smiles is simply rewarding.

Despite the weather, the day was beautiful and the Easter egg hunt was a blast! Thanks, Amy, for allowing me to capture your husband’s family.
