The location below is one of my favorite spots for family photos. While the spring is blooming with wildflowers and rolling green hills, fall is bursting with its own muted shades of yellow, orange, and red. It started out as a drizzly November day, but the sky opened and the sun shone down on us.

We are so spoiled here in California with warm fall days. While most are bundled up braving blustery weather, the Levy family was dipping their toes in the Pacific Ocean. This was a super fun session and they had a great time getting sandy, playing in the waves, and watching a gorgeous California sunset.

My fall/holiday sessions are in full swing and have been enjoying all the outdoors locations my clients have selected. I’ve been capturing the Bean family since their oldest was a baby, and this year they became a family of four!

Ten years and two adorable kids later, this sweet couple renewed their vows in the beautiful gardens at Le Chene. But it wasn’t just any vow renewal ceremony — Danielle was surprising Randy for their 10th anniversary! Once Randy walked into the garden it only took a only a few moments for him to fully comprehend what was about to take place. He had absolutely no idea Danielle had been planning the ceremony and was brimming with happiness. The two never stopped smiling and Randy even shed a tear or two of joy. A wedding may be the most important day in your life, but there is something so magical about renewing your vows.
